I currently have a problem where it is taking many minutes(!) for both remote, and also one local, Config Managers to respond to the Toolkit. Connection to Linux CMs takes 5-7 minutes! The problem appears to be either connected with my PC or Toolkit (which has FP 1 applied) as other users connect in seconds to the same remote CMs.
Has anyone else experienced similar behaviour? Are there any Toolkit settings that might affect, or alleviate, this problem?
btw, disk is defragged, CPU usage is minimal and there is no apparent memory constraint. |

Solved ...I had altered the retry time to 100000ms for the CM Proxy without realising the effect that this would have! |

That's still quite strange - those retry values specify the maximum length of time the toolkit will wait before timing out.
There shouldn't be a timeout, so this suggests corruption in the CM's repository.
Does the domain look OK once you have connected?
And what if you connect using the Configuration Manager Proxy API Exerciser? |
