We are setting up config managers on Linux that our developers will access from Windows toolkits. Initial attempts to connect fail with a '401' response from the CM proxy, i.e. authorisation. Am I correct in thinking that we will need to add the Windows userid, minus the domain, for each developer to the 'mqbrkrs' group on the Linux machine and then create suitable ACL entries before we can connect? |

Hi,
You don't need to add users to the mqbrkrs group, but you do need to (a) give the users ability to connect to the Config Manager's queue Manager, and (b) use the mqsicreateaclentry command to create ACL entries for each user/machine name and the resources they can access.
If your toolkit users are logged into a primary domain, substitute the machine name for the domain name.
Regards
