Hi folks

In the WebSphere MQ docs, there are quite a few places where there is a "how to" list of steps. For example, in the Queue Manager Clusters manual : http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/topic/com.ibm.mq.csqzah.doc/csqzah0758.htm

Question : Are there any tasks that you wish were documented in this style, but aren't?

Yes!

And in keeping with that theme, MQIPT.

I thought that the Security manual had specific step-by-steps?

Well, I didn't believe you and I checked the documentation. It was there. I remember checking it couple of weeks back and I couldn't find. But anyway, I found it, and followed the steps and I could get it running with self signed certs.

Hi Peter, It would help a lot if you had some particular examples of SSL and/or MQIPT tasks that need the list-of-steps approach.

All, are there any other contributions here? It would be interesting to hear from those new to MQ as well as those who know it well.

There's a "How to set up SSL with the Java client" article on developerWorks, if that helps
