Over the years mqsideletebroker has been a solid rock I've been able to cling to. However getting a problem now, deployed delete from configmgr, stopped broker, issue mqsideletebroker and it hangs....

Anyone got any ideas? Nothing in the syslog. No BIPs to the stdio. It gets to the stage of saying

"WebSphere MQ queue manager running."

then goes quiet.

Had a good search around but not seen any similar questions. Anyone any thought?


Am on AIX5.2, WBIMB v5 CSD05.

Hey there, DBs were up and running. (another broker on same LPAR was running against the db ok (stopped it and started it also) and I was able to connect in as broker user over command line)....

I went out for a meal. Came back. Was about to try as root (like you suggested) & thought I'd give it another try as my wbiadm user....

It worked ....
