Just an idea, but couldn't this forum, when registering, send a one-time password to a designated e-mail address? Then at least there would be some sort of audit trail to whom is posting this rubbish (sorry, I didn't mean any of the latest posters in THIS forum - just some of the silly posts that are in the "News and Updates" forum today). EDIT That have been thankfully cleaned up.END-EDIT

Yeah, I think as part of upgrading the forum software (which I will be doing soon), it will now require the user to click a link in their registration email to confirm, which may cut down on some of these bots...
