Nor will you ever be able to......not without knowing the msgid.

Your choices are limited....browse the queue until you find a message that 'belongs' to your application, or look for messages using msgid.

Look.... with all due respect your knowledge of MQ leads me to believe that you simply have not read any manuals and are trying to 'wing it'.
Your would be much better spending a few hours reading the Programmers Guide than waiting for people to answer your (rather basic) questions here.

MQ is NOT meant to be a database. Is your snail mailbox meant to be used to file your mail? No? Well guess what? MQ is much the same as a mail carrier service (ever wonder why there is a queue called a Dead LETTER queue?) . MQ (like your mail carrier) doesn't open your mail for you, it doesn't act on the content of your mail, and it doesn't know which is your electric bill so it can't simply hand just your electric bill to you without you telling it which is your electric bill or having a specific mail box just for electric bills.

Hope this helps

What will you do if you find out you can't do this?

How will you solve your real problem, if you can't solve it by having random access to messages on the queue?

I believe he is still far away from formulating the problem.
It would certainly help if he gave us the full scenario instead of showing some queue content.
At least we could guide him in his reading of the manuals ... like request/response patterns...
