Hey everybody,
I'm trying to install RAC CSD6 on AIX version 5.3, and keep getting the errors:
"Error writing to config file" and "RAStart script file", while all the permissions on the installation directory and JAR file are set to read/write/execute enabled.
Does anyone have and idea what can it be ?

I assume you're doing this as root... have you run out of space in that filesystem?

First, thanks for your response.
I am doing this as root, yes - but the space is yet far from running out. Any other ideas ? |

I've got the same problem trying to install RAC 502 on AIX 5.3. I get 'Error writing to config file' and 'Error writing to RAStart script file'.
What was the solution?
