Buchanan Associates is looking for another top consultant to join our growing team.
One of our large, long-term clients is in need of another Websphere MQ developer/administrator.

Mandatory:

All candidates must be US Citizen.

Selected candidates must pass National Agency Check.

Job Description:
Provide a Websphere MQ developer/administrator who is experienced in creating and configuring encrypted MQ queues/queue managers; monitoring/managing Unix MQ Environment (AIX/Linux); performing analysis and tuning of MQ environment; programming using Pro*C (Java or C/C++ acceptable). Must have good documentation skills and strong mentoring skills to be able to assist other programmer/analysts on the team.

Required Skills:

3+ yrs experience creating and configuring MQ queues and queue managers

3+ yrs experience monitoring and managing Unix MQ Environment (AIX/Linux)

3+ yrs experience performing analysis and tuning of MQ Environment

2+ yrs experience with MQ related development (MQ/MQSI/WebsphereMQ)

2+ yrs Oracle and/or DB2 experience

2+ yrs Oracle Pro*C programming experience (C/C++ or Java will be considered)MQ certifications desirable, but not required

Experience trouble shooting MQ in real world environment

Demonstrated ability to mentor/teach other programmer/analysts to transfer knowledge
