My RTSINPUTQ gets back logged when I try to instantiate messages in a batch. As long as the no.of messages in the queues are below 100 my system runs fast but once it passes some 200 the system gets seriously slow.
Can some one answer as to how the que depth is related to the processing speed of the exec servers??
What is the serialization algorithm IBM uses when processing messages from RTSINPUTQ??
Are the exec server purely multi-threaded?? ( If I run 2*no.of cpus.. will each exec server pick one msg and do its job? )
It would be really wonderful if any one has any documentation as to how MQ Workflow engine utilizes mq _________________ Thanks
We also saw a backup in the RTSINPUTQ when submitting a batch of process instances. In our case we tried setting up a parallel system on the same box and we saw the same problem
We increased the size of the DB2 buffer and it cleared up the problem.

hello,
We have been struggling with the same issue of wf slowing down whenever the queue goes beyond 100. Any further information regarding the DB2 config changes would be much appreciated.
