Hi, I am deploying a bar file with mqsideploy command in Windows2000 Server with WBIMB 5 and I am getting the error :
BIP1015I: External exception.
An external exception was caught: 'Information on the Topology has not yet been supplied by the Config Manager; consequently the broker information could not be determined.'
The user that is executing the command is different of the WBIMB user however is in all the mq user groups.
Any idea? Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
First, check that the CM is actually running (look in the system log for BIP1003).
Second, try running the command locally, and using the same userid that runs the Config Manager. If that works, then check that the userid is defined on both the CM machine AND the machine on which you are running mqsideploy. It is the userid on the CM machine that needs to be a member of the mqbr* groups (or ACL entries created).
Let me know how you get on!

My command line is :
mqsideploy -b WBRK_BROKER -e MyExGr -bar Login.bar
Matt, the CM is running ok and the userid that is executing the command line is in the same machine where CM is, I also verified that this user (admin) is member of the mq* groups.
After the error, the CM service can not be stoped, the status is stopping.
Maybe I need to create an ACL entrie for this user?
Thanks in advance. |

The error in the Event Viewer is :
Description:
( ConfigMgr ) Error in call NetUserGetLocalGroups() to the NT security domain with return code 2221.
A component of WebSphere Business Integration Message Brokers is attempting to call the NT security domain. The security subsystem returned an error code.
Check NT security subsystem documentation for the reported error. Restart the relevant service component (UserNameServer, or Configuration Manager). Ensure that a Domain Controller, either Primary or Backup, is available.

I solve the problem, the userid has 13 characters so I have to use contact admin command for using WBIMB userid(less than 12 characters) and execute the deploy command without problems. |
