Hi
I tried to deploy the exec grp when the database was down.
Now the databse is up and running but the toolkit is dead. It is not allowing me to deploy saying the CONFIG MGR is still deploying the last one.
Nothing comes up in the event log, its just not doing anything.
I stopped the broker and restarted it but no use.
Whats the best way to deal with this situation coz its like a common problem for me because the database is really unstable.
plz help

In the Broker Admin perspective, right click on the Configmgr domain, you should see a "cancel deployment" action. _________________ -wayne |

In v6 you can also right click on the broker and do the same. This has the advantage of not affecting other brokers in the domain.
Instead, you could also use the -c/-cancel option of mqsideploy.
Importantly, you must ONLY do cancel deployment if the broker can never respond to the deploy in question. If the broker processes the cancelled deployment request after the cancel action has completed, the CM and the broker can become of sync.
(To help prevent this situation, after cancelling deployment the v6 Config Manager will attempt to retrieve the deployment request from the broker's admin input queue, but because you can't MQGET from remote queues, this only works if the CM and broker share the same queue manager. If this is not the case, after cancelling deployment you should manually ensure that the broker's SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.QUEUE is empty.)
