Hi all -
I am running MQ V5.3 on Win2000. We are sending records to a customer also running V5.3 on UNIX. Sending records is not a problem. When we receive the Reply To ACK for each record, the application is not able to read it. I am able to browse the message and the data is clean and readable. We have determined that the problem is that the message descriptor field in the message is set to version 2 and we are expecting version 1. When we do an MQGET, we see "MD" and a hex character. (no data).
Which solution makes more sence? Should we adjust the version number when we do an MQGET, or can I ask the customer to change it on the sender side.
