Hi All

Im using WBIMB 5.0 toolkit.

I have created a message flow and then put it in a bar file. When I deploy the bar file, the log is not showing any errors but the msg flow is not showing up in the execution group.

The msg flow is just a test flow, so its not complicated.

Did I miss a step in the process or is something wrong with the flow or may be something else?

plz help

How do you know the flow is not deployed?
How do you know you have deployed to the right broker/exec group?

In the toolkit do you actually get some kind of response saying that deployment was successful

Make sure you start your broker and configmgr and that the channels between the 2 are running. Then do a cancel deployment and then re-deploy the simple bar file.

Post any error messages that you get along with the BIPxxxE error codes in the Event log.

Thanks.

the broker and config mgr are running and so are the channels between them.

I get a message that

a response was recieved from the configmgr and was processed successfully.

after the deploy takes place and the event log does not show any errors.

will post the errors or logs when i get back to office

thanks

Issue the following command on the broker server:

Quote:
mqsilist <brokerName> -e <execGroup>

Is your message flow displayed?

Check Event Viewer. I think you will get the error messages.

Hi All

Quote:

No the flow does not show up.

There are no msgs in the event viewer.

I think it is deploying something, and so not letting me deploy again. But even if i cancel the deploy, it still does not let me deploy again.

thanks

Did you see any messages in log saying the deploy was successful?? If not check to see the following.
1. If there is any .cmf file in your Bar file.
2. If there are any errors in your ESQL.
2. Any errors in the application log of the Event viewer.
3. If there is any DataFlowEngine.exe running in task manager.

Let us know what you find.

I had a similar problem of the msg flow not appearing when trying to add to the broker archive. The issue was with the datasource associated with the node. Please make sure that your node is properly configured and has the right ESQL.
