Hi All,

I have given some value in the input container while creating the
process instance .

Now can I get the same value in the output container of the same activity
without doing anything in activity implementation(I mean, in the activity implementation I am just printing "Hello") while executing in normal way.
i.e the values which I put in Incontainer .

Accrording to my knowledge Generally we do modify outcontainer

1. Using PEA
2.CheckOut CheckIn
3.Forcefinish2

My question is that
1. will it show me inContainer Values in OutContainer
2. Is there any other way to achieve it

waiting for reply

I'm not sure I really understand your question, but perhaps what you want to do is to use a Data Default connector?

If this is not correct, please give a more detailed explaination of what you are doing.

I've done the same thing in my workflow process. In my first step, I have a simple application that loads an invisible form and immediately unloads it. To get the input data container copied to the output data container, I drew a data default connector out of the first step and back into itself. It works beautifully and saves you from having to do a lot of programming.

Hi,

As John and RJoubert said, you can move the value from Input to Output using the data default connector and from Output to input using the Data Loop connector.

For more information about the connectors look at the Buildtime Manual.

Cheers
