Hi Guys,
We are migrating from 3.4 to 3.5 and I was trying to use the fmcjapi on my WID 6.0. When I try to run, I get a message,
java.beans.PropertyVetoException: FMC38001E Configuration FMCTEST cannot be set
at com.ibm.workflow.api.Agent.failureConfiguration(Agent.java:412)
at com.ibm.workflow.api.Agent.setConfigurationID(Agent.java:259)
at queryWI.main(queryWI.java:32)
If I try changing the fmcjapi back to fmcojagt.jar in my project folder and set the project lib path to it, it works fine.
I saw some mails related to it. But, all were referring to changing in Appserver. I am doing it on WID(WSAD).
Please let me know where I am going wrong.
thanks,
-Mahesh |

Mahesh:
I am running under Wid and other than the install I see no differences than from running under WAS.
Is this configuration defined?
Is your fmcrc file set properly? _________________ John McDonald

Hi Mac,
I was too hury. I did not read the readme correctly!!
"The native Java API does not support configuration parameters in the Windows Registry or in z/OS data sets. On Windows systems and z/OS, an fmcrc file is used to hold the configuration parameters that are necessary for the native Java API. The structure of the fmcrc file is similar to the MQ Workflow profiles used on UNIX platforms. However, you can have only one fmcrc file which must reside in a directory that is accessible via the CLASSPATH. Use the Java API Configuration Assistant to create the fmcrc file."
All looks good.
Thanks,
-Mahesh |
