I am using the ODA to create message definitions in WBI MB. I'm exporting them from SAP and then creating my message set without any issue.
My only beef is that the exported objects seem to have field names based on the Short Text instead of the SAP field name.

Example:

Instead of the field being named "PO_NUMBER", it is named "Purchasing_Document_Number".

Or worse:

Instead of "DISTRIB", it is "Distribution_indicator_for_multiple_account_assignment"

I can live with it if I have to, but if anyone knows how I can get the actual field names, I would be much happier.

After you have selected the IDOC/RFC etc
you get a screen where you can select
- PREFIX
-MODULE
- RELEASE
- UseField name YES/NO

UseField name YES/NO is the one.
