Any of those of you out there using Rational Application Developer6, my quesion is:
previously within my workspace using WSAD 5.1, there was also a folder for my server1. Where has this moved in RAD6? I have RAD6.0 but did not install WAS6 test server, just WAS5.1 testenv server. I created my server just fine and it runs fine, but I need to run wsadmin scripts against my test 5.1 server to create my jndi objects etc. Where is it hiding?
thanks |

thanks for the reply vennela.
I still cannot seem to find it. If i Manually go into the admin console and let's say I add a QCF, where is the resources.xml that includes that entry? in WSAD it was in the server folder of the workspace, but in RAD i am still unable to find.. |

Have you tried running a windows os search for "resources.xml" on your RAD installation and your workspace? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

ahh, I found it.
located in C:\PROJ1\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.wtp.server.core\configs\20_12_05_1_42_AM2-data\cells\localhost\nodes\localhost\servers\server1
So in rational software architect/RAD, I was able to move the templates directory over and the wsadmin scripts run great now against my test server.
THanks! |
