I'm trying to configure IHS to act as a foward proxy for some secure connections to a business partner web service.
I have enabled mod_proxy, and mod_proxy_http, and turned ProxyRequests on. I have set up a proxy clause to indicate my denys and allows.
I have enabled mod_ibm_ssl.
When I attempt to use the proxy server for an unencrypted HTTP link, it functions. When I attempt to use it for an HTTPS link, I get the following
Quote: |
[warn] proxy: No protocol handler was valid for the URL www.example.org:443. If you are using a DSO version of mod_proxy, make sure the proxy submodules are included in the configuration using LoadModule. |
I also tried setting SSLProxyEngine ON to see if that made a difference, and it didn't.
I'm currently in process of searching through IBM's website, and getting ready to open a PMR.
I need basically a complete set of steps to enable this. The documentation is sparse on examples, from what I've found so far. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Apparently I need to load mod_proxy_connect. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
