Hi Everyone,

We have a development Windows 2003 Server box with 10 queue managers on it. I am trying to add a further 4 queue managers and am getting a "process cannot be started - return code 128" when I try to create a queue manager in the MQ explorer.

When I try the same command from the command line, it creates the queue manager OK but the command server or any listener I create fails to start with error AMQ4128.

I'm starting to think there are not enough resources on this box to cope with the additional services - is this possible?

Unfortunately someone set the language to German so diagnosis is proving slow.

Any help much appreciated! MQ is 5.3.7

I don't understand why you need to have so many queue-managers running at the same time on one machine...

Neither do I - but that's what the developers want.

One possible reason is partner agreements requiring logical separation of data flows.

One possible reason is acting as an MQ service provider.

German, now that's funny. It's a good thing you're on that side of the pond. I'd have a hell of a time finding someone who was literate in German here in Arizona.
