thanks for the info. MQ logs are the right place look. But I was looking for a command similar to 'dspmqver'. |

dspmqver or something equivalent is not available on z/Os, but you may use a "commandprefix DIS QMGR CMDLEVEL" for a installed (and running) queuemanager. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

You can see the version in the startup JESMSGLG of the CHIN and MSTR as well as the EARLY code ver in the MSTR.
CSQX000I +ssid CSQXJST IBM WebSphere MQ for z/OS V5.3.1
CSQ3111I +ssid CSQYSCMD - EARLY PROCESSING PROGRAM IS V5.3.1
002-008 _________________ WebSphere Application Server 7.0 z/OS &
MQ 6.0. I work with WebSphere in the real world not in some IBM lab. |

I guess if he is looking for the equivalent of mqver/dspmqver he would like to know about the ptf's installed as well.
Answer: Use the Search button. This one has already been answered in the past.
