The EAI Technical Specialist will function as a technical expert on EAI infrastructure specifically in MQ 5.3 and WMBI 5.0.
The Technical Specialist will also have the following roles & responsibilities:
• Play the role of a technical architect to assist the team in reviewing, designing and implementing MQ and messaging infrastructure setup and design. This includes MQ objects such as connectivity decks, MQ 5.3 SSL, OAM setup etc.
• Participate in design and development of EAI core components such as message tracking and security encryption on various platforms from W2K to AIX, Solaris, OS/390 and AS/400
•Design, develop and test core components as assigned. This also involves completing relevant documentation as part of development life cycle
•Provide work estimates where needed on core MQ development
•Provide Level 3 technical support on MQ 5.3 and WMBI 5.0
•Expert in Unix environment from AIX 5.2 to Solaris
•Conversant and familiar with MQ setup on W2K, W2003, Linux, AIX, Solaris, OS/390 and AS/400
•Provide timely status reports and assist in problem resolution
•Train and impart knowledge to local team
•Escalate issues for management attention and work with management for problem resolution
•Websphere MQ and Websphere MQ Integrator
•Worked on MQSI 2.1 migration to WMBI 5.0
•Exposure to WMQ 6.0
