First I also checked is CLASSPATH. I run javac and java and both run from any point. that means it should not be due to classpath. Any other suggestion.

thanks for suggestion guys. It is really helpful in many occassions.

This does not guarantee that the CLASSPATH is right at runtime !!!
Enjoy

Now, goto START -> Programs -> IBM WebSphere InterChange Server -> IBM WebSphere InterChange Tool Set -> Development -> Test Connector

If you click, what happens?

Every time I have gotten this error, it has been because of a CLASSPATH problem.

We discussed a lot about this. I am sure, the class path is correct but the connector does not work. This indicates, there is something wrong.

You have not shown that the classpath is correct. The classpath can be different from when you open a command shell and try and do things and from when the connector starts up.

I repeat. The connector's classpath is not guaranteed to be the same as your system classpath.

wat u mean connector classpath? u mean the classpath mentioned inconnector batch file? I have checked every possible. The fact is, it was working before and now does not work. I only use this comp and I have not changed anything. So, I am so sure about the classpath.

Hey guys,

The problem i have in VT connector is with my office computer. The one i was able to solve [ another thread] was with my person computer. So, the issue is still here. Please do not get confused.

Thank you very much who offered suggestion. I find this forum as integral part of my career life.

Thanks a lot to all contributors.

Check out if the user that runs the connector has been changed or recreated.
This may change a number of defaults in Unix/windows and the default classpath for that user.

Enjoy
