I would like to add that WESB does not offer all the functionality of WBIMB but it could certainly replace ICS and MQWF. Apparently, they gave an alias to WBIMB as Advanced WESB.
I'm still looking for things WESB can't do (except for the generic parser / support for non-XML data).
From what I can see, if there's a way to execute Java code which has access to the internal data trees (eg by calling an SCA-wrapped EJB), WESB will have all the capabilities of a real broker.
FWIW:
I see ICS and WMB as having (more or less) the same functionality. ICS looks different, but it isn't really. If anything, WICS is has (had?) more capabilities, like the support for Parent/Child data objects, and the secondary functions from that like the cross-reference tables thing.
I think the best equivalent to MQWF is WebSphere Process Server (WPS).
