Hey guys,
I have said at the begining also that I have to learn ICS myself. And by now, I learnt something. I appreciate contribution of the guys in the forum. I understand the components of the ics, how to do - for example crearting BOs, maps, collab and connector. however, I do not have a complete understand how exactly ics works. So, I would request you guys in forum, lets make this thread what exactlyt ics works. I will create scenario and explain. Your concise and clear comments would help undersand it better.
Lets take 4 different scenario.
a. there is not processing in Collab. simeply passing information with some join, or slit of input information.
b. some processing in collab
c. simple batch processing
d. batch processing with complicated messaging needs, many destinations, with different format, triggering mechanism for starting final processing, flow resubmit, emailing problem, and use of 4 different kinds of adapters, MQ, jdbc, JText, and email.
lets start with the simple scenario. lets say I have xml file in MQ and I would like to get that output into other side as text and there a simple processing in between. this requires, BO, mapping, and adapters, mq and jtext.
Lets further say, the procesing is only change firs and last name into one, and split address from single line into 2.
I created asbo, one gbo and final asbo. there is nothing in collab accept the same gbo has to be passed to the final processing.
XML file - ASBO- GBO-ASBO - text tile
lets me say that i undersand
connector picks message from MQ and creates a ASBO.
now how the further processing trakes place.
when map is activated?
when collab takes processing, etc
once this is over, i will exlain the second scenario.
thanks guys |
