Hello All,
I have a person called TEAM_EDI. I have another person called SUP_TEAM_EDI which has authority to view TEAM_EDI lists. If a workitem is not worked on by TEAM_EDI, I have a notification set for SUP_TEAM_EDI. Anybody know what the filter string would be for the SUP_TEAM_EDI to log on and view TEAM_EDI workitems AND SUP_TEAM_EDI notifications. I can see workitems, but the notifications never show up. Here is my current filter and variations of it:
1.
OWNER= 'SUP_TEAM_EDI' OR OWNER= 'TEAM_EDI' OR TYPE IN (WORK_ITEM, FIRST_NOTIFICATION)
2.
TYPE IN (WORK_ITEM, FIRST_NOTIFICATION)
3.
TYPE IN (WORK_ITEM, FIRST_NOTIFICATION)
All three of these only return workitems of TEAM_EDI. Never notifications. Thanks for any input. |

I would guess that you have not started the Scheduling Server. Start it with the Admin Utility (fmcautil) or better, modify your Domain Settings to start the Scheduling server automatically.
Next, check the notification check interval, the default is 1 hour. I.E. the scheduling server only wakes up once an hour to post new notifications. If your notification time is short, you probably need to reduce this value. I would recommend never making it less than 5 minutes. _________________ John McDonald
