I am using Weblogic 6.1 with MQ 5.2. I wrote a simple MDB that calls setRollbackOnly() causing Weblogic to re-queue the message.
I then set the Backout Threshold on the queue to 2. I thought this would cause the message to be re-delivered twice and then sent to the specified
backout queue.
However, this isn't working. The message gets re-delivered forever.
Has anybody been able to get this working?
Thanks,

The backout count is updated by MQSeries. However, it is up to your application to actually move the message to the backout queue once you've checked and realize that the count is over the threshold.
