I am using WBIMB V 5 and need to

1.FTP files into an FTP server
2.Get files from FTP server

What would be the best way to implement this.I am looking at following options

1) I can use PM4Data: Commerce Quest Product which sits on the file server and converts that file into MQ messages and vice-versa

2)Using IA0X support pac for recieving files from FTP server.by using this i can only recieve files from FTP server and but can not send files to the FTP server.it is used as input node.

3) Develop custom built plugin node

Any Response to this will be highly appreciated

The FileExtender nodes allow you to read and write files into / out of flows.
I don't think they provide any FTP interface.

IA0x gets you hallfway there (the input side). You could write a plugin node for the ftp client side (and make it a Cat 4 supportpac).

Or, you could use the FileExender nodes with PM4Data....

The Primeur product for WBIMB certainly does provide an FTP interface.

Just to be clear:

The IBM FileExtender nodes (here:
http://www-306.ibm.com/common/ssi/fcgi-bin/ssialias?subtype=ca&infotype=an&appname=iSource&supplier=897&letternum=ENUS205-127
) which is provided by Primeur does not support a FTP interface.

The Primeur SPAZIO product (here:
http://www.primeur.com/products/integration/integration.html )
does provide an FTP interface.

zpat, do you agree?

SPAZIO File Extender

This module extends WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker capabilities from just managing real-time applications into also managing file and batch based applications. File routing, content enrichment and transformation enhances WBIMB into a complete brokering solution for all services and applications. With the option of the SPAZIO FTFI suite this can be further extended to other industry standard sources such as Connect:Direct, TCP/IP, SNA, HTTP, FTP, SMTP or XCOM
