I have admin account on my machine and I am using the same username and password for config manager , broker and DB2 when I create them . I changed the password for my admin account on my machine becasue it is the security policy on my work to change it .
currently , I have general failure to start config manager and broker and DB2 . my question how can I recover that ?
on DB2 how can I change the password for the DB2 admin ? I used my admin username and pasword as admin too for DB2 when I created it database . but I changed the password therfor I need to change that for DB2 admin account too . please give me some details
Thanks |

Take a look at mqsichangeconfigmgr and mqsichangebroker commands. I don't remember whether they provide you an option to change passwords only or not. But you can find more details in the help system. _________________ Kiran

If you running on windows you can go to services in Control Panel. Double Click all the services that use your admin user ID, go to Log On Tab and type your new password. All these services will then be able to start up using the new credentials _________________ Applications Architect |

I dont think this would work.I had a similar problem when my windows login password changed.I followed the steps which Ramphart suggested. But could not connect to Broker domain from Broker toolkit.
The way it worked for me is ,

mqsichangeconfigmgr <<-i ServiceUserID> -a ServicePassword>
<-p DatabaseSourcePassword
mqsichangebroker brokername <<-i ServiceUserID> -a ServicePassword>
<-p DatabaseSourcePassword |
