Hi,
We are on ICS 421 on AIX, upto yesterday everything is working well, but once we came in the morning and see the status of connectors, are all down and saying controllers are not running.
From the System manager connected the server and trying to start the controllers, nothing is happining.
Bounce the server and keep looking on the InterchangeSystem.log, I found that all bos are loaded but connectors not loaded here is the error
Mesg: Begin connector initialization.]
[Time: 2005/11/10 10:03:48.157] [System: Server] [Thread: main (#2104779470)] [Mesg: connectors: An error occurred during the retrieval of {2}. Reason: {3}.]
Could you tell me how can I start my connector controllers?
Please advice me
Thanks

If you did not change any stuff over the jar file... then do a simple task.
Delete the whole repository in the ICS Component management and then redeploy the whole jar file to the server, and try starting your agents after u make sure the components are up in server
Keep updated..

On this server there are hundreds of bos, map, collabs etc reside.
So we can not delete the repository and that to somany interfaces are there.
Is there any other idea, how to bring connector controllers up and run.
Thanks for quick response

One simple way to test is disconnect from your production server and connect to your local ICS server on your local machine. And perform this task of redeploying and etc... mentioned above
Atleast it would be easy to figure out where the problem persists |

I am sorry if I confused you, this problem was happed on integration server, not production. We did not have any local servers
When I look into ICS documentation I found the explanation for this problem
2135
{1}: An error occurred during retrieval of {2}. Reason: {3}.
[EXPL]
The persistent services returned an error during an attempt to
retrieve an object. Check the repository contents to ensure that the
object exists. Try deleting the object and reinstalling it from a
backup copy.
When I look into database repository for the table CXREPOSCONNECTORS, all connectors are there with active state. So I would like to restore the table CXREPOSCONNECTORS and see what will happen, and if it does not resolve the problem then I can restore the entire database.
Please let me know if anything I need to do.
Thanks

Hi,
From the System manager, I am unable to delete the controllers and also unable get the components from the server.
And aslo even unbale to deploy the connector to the server, it is giving the following error
2813 Server error. Message: class CxCommon.Exceptions.RepositoryException: connectors: An error occurred during the retrieval of {2}. Reason: {3}.
I tried the following also
a. stopped ics
a. had the dba shutdown and restart the database
b. stopped and restarted MQSeries
c. stopped and restarted osagent
d. started ics
We are still seeing the same issue.
Please let me know your valuable suggestions to resolve this
Thanks, |

Ah ah You did not do the magical task
Alright you have problem with deleting the repository. It is something which goes like this: Stop all the maps, connector controllers, collaboration objects in ICS component management. Right click on the repository and select the option "delete the repository" and say "ok".
keep posted up..
Good Luck ! |

Delete the Contents of your WIP tables and restart the Server. _________________ -Ratan |

Merely deleting the WIP tables might not have the desired results, check all the connector AP queues. If you see many messages in them, you've probably accumulated a lot of unresolved flows. The best path is delete the WIP tables and clear all these AP queue messages after you bring down the server.

To solve this, Check if the connector has access to the right messages file. Once you fix this, an accurate message would be displayed. |
