I found some. A basic question. Where do I need to have R/3 link. Is it on SAP machine or MQSeries machine? What are the possible designs. Even a document or any link would be helpful.

Depending on what you want and need to do, maybe you just want to use the JCO and not use MQLink at all ?

Otherwise who cares? the connection from MQLink to SAP is TCP/IP registered connection anyway.

This seems to be saying that r/3 system is also needed on the same server as link and mq server..

We have R/3 (SAP) separate from MQ R/3 Link and MQ server.
