I'm having an issue with my sender channel automatically starting and I'm wondering if it might be what I have specified for the Application Type in the sender channel definiton.
Should it be UNIX? z/OS? With WMQ V6 is there a specific type for zLinux?
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks. |

Do you mean the "Process Definition"? If so, be advised that you don't need a process definition. Just specifying the INITQ, TRIGDATA(channel name), TRIGGER and TRIGTYPE(FIRST) on the XMITQ is sufficient to trigger a channel. _________________ -wayne

Yes, I did mean process definition.
I'll get this set up in the manner you describe, and give it a try.
Thanks! |

Actually, I think thats broke in V6 (ie, not needing trigdata), I keep meaning to open a PMR on it. (maybe tonight) _________________ -wayne |
