tried to create default configuration with the wizard in V6 broker. I failed at creating the broker database DEFBKDBV6.

found this in wizard log.

java.lang.RuntimeException: toc label==null

any thoughts?

i have db2 8.1 on my workstation. looks like it is not supported. i dont have a way to upgrade it to 8.2.

cant think of any other option. I am trying to set up the broker to get familiar with newer functionlaity.

any suggestions, can i create a derby database with 8.1?

One of the later FPs of v8.1 is functionally equivalent to v8.2

So download the latest FP of DB2, install it, and you should be fine.

Mind you, it's a big download.
