We have the following set up. Workflow client on Windows connects to unix box where the Workflow server is there. We use client concentrator and we make use of WAS on Windows box for our custom Workflow web application and the out-of-box client application. There has been some disucssion on moiving the WAS to mainfarme linux environment. I am of the opinion that, if we do so, we should be able to run Workflow web client from mainframe. Right? Please let me know if any of you were successful in running Workflow client on Mainframe environment. I am not sure if it is possible. But if it is any/all pointers would be very helpful.
Thanks

Well. Here is the additional information. Our mainframe has Linux. One idea is to run WAS on linux. Since our Worklflow webclient is currently running on Windows, my understanding is that we have to move the web client to Linux where WAS is going to be running. Please share your ideas

Hi,

LINUX support was introduced with MQWF version 3.6. However there is no installation available on LINUX, just a runtime environment. You can find a detailed description how to configure a web client on LINUX via the JACA tool in the Installation Guide.
