I am using MQ5.3 at solaris at command prompt i can see(dspmq) that queue manager is running
when i fire runmwsc XXXXX Following Message is generated
ksh: runmqcs: not found
please let me know the reason

you should avoid typing errors, both when you do your work and both when you post error messages. best thing is cut and paste.
i suggest you try the correct command-name, if that fails with not found then ask your system administrator. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

$ runmqcs xxxxx
ksh: runmqcs: not found

You have spelt the command wrong....
It is
r u n m q s c

I can see that status of this queue manager as running but not existing
runmqsc XXXXX

No MQSC commands read.
No commands have a syntax error.

shanta, this is almost unbelievable. why do you not spend a minute to check the manual? i told you to use the correct command, but you refused to do some work on your own......

i also afraid off why it is happning
as i can see the status of queue manager as running
but i can't stop the queue manager nor even fire runmqsc xxxx
If you help me than it is ok
$ endmqm XXXXX
AMQ8146: WebSphere MQ queue manager not available.
$ runmqcs XXXXX
ksh: runmqcs: not found
ksh: PING: not found

I have been under the impression, for the past week or so, that shanta is a grand-master in disguise, who amuses himself by taunting us with these ultra-newbie questions.
If that is not the case, then this behavior is truely beyond me; Shanta - either fess-up, or read the manual already! |
