No, this is not a rant about the fact I have a meagre 17-incher here;In fact, i'm quite satisfied with it (SAMSUNG 730B - recommended!)

I'm addressing the fact that some threads (http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25048&highlight=) fit neatly into my so-and-so sized explorer window, while others (http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=111907#111907) make me scroll back and forth (sideways) all the time; and as I am a keyboard-man myself (MF born and bred), I dislike mouse usage altogether, thus the nervous supercilium tick i've been developing lately.

So, is it just me? Is it He? Who is it anyway? And how can He fix it?

(The myriad of brackets courtesy of said keyboard - an old console keyboard, no less)

It's not you.

It's been commented on somewhere here before.

It's likely a weird artifact of text handling in phpBB2, and thus probably not rapidly fixable.

You have a problem with my Microsoftish tendencies? Eh? Wanna make something of it?

It's the darndest thing, whenever I open my own thread, it's immediately hijacked... And thanks Jeff for the correction - you've just been blacklisted along with wayne.

Put that Pengiun on the mainframe and everybody is happy.

Now back to the question / problem: Press & hold the CTRL key then use the arrow keys.

Regards,
Roger Lacroix

A nifty (yet already known) solution, but hardly "robust" - at high posting throughputs it is insufficient ; now where's brandon when you need 'im?
