You're saying that the qmgr isn't ending despite the '-p' flag?
See the System Admin Guide for manually stopping the qmgr processes.

Yes, that is what is expected... the qmgr is not running now, so just do a "strmqm"

When i start i got following message
AMQ8041: The queue manager cannot be restarted or deleted because processes,
that were previously connected, are still running.
Process 2075 is still running.
AMQ7018: The queue manager operation cannot be completed.

Can't I just start it without killing other java processes?

Regards

I don't think so...

You gotta stop this process.

you have to stop the prodcesses, and - in addition - there may be semaphore files / storage segments / left (i dont remember exactly, not my prefered plattform).
search for it (here, google, manuals) how to remove them before you start again.
