I am using MQ V5.3 CSD11. have defined server channel. when i start
the channel. I see the following message in the log.

AMQ9002: Channel 'AUGUSSA.MQP03UC2' is starting.

EXPLANATION:
Channel 'AUGUSSA.MQP03UC2' is starting.
ACTION:
None.

Althought if I display the status. It is "Running". Is this normal?
should I not see "Channel 'AUGUSSA.MQP03UC2' is stared"

Thanks Jeff for quick reply. The only reason I got curious cause I upgraded to CSD11 last week. Earlier when I was on V5.3 without any fixpack. I used to see "Channel is statred".
I read documentation which said "starting" means all the possible channels are in use. But u are the GURU. If u say this is nornal. I will take u'r word.

Thanks again !!

Use the command "DIS CHS(<channel name>)" - if that channel works, you'll get RUNNING no matter the version, the "started" you saw in 5.3 was probably not the real state.
