As stated above, these may be silly indeed, but they may not; shoot me if any of them is obvious:

1. How do I get rid of the "wrote" string in a [quote=""] statement.
2. Using [list]s creates too many blank lines, any way to control this? This also occurs in other BBCode macros.
3. Can I post an image without actually having it on the net? i.e straight from my computer.
4. Are images posted hosted here, or rendered online? i.e if the site becomes unavailable, does the picture remain?
5. Any [code=] usage available, or just [code]?
6. Does anyone have some nifty undocumented macro or posting method up his sleeve that he'd like to share?

Now, I looked up some info on phpBB2, and sadly the answer to most these questions was towards the worse end of things, I just wonder if there are any loopholes.

Cheers,
Hop

(No BBCode was used in this here post, for obvious reasons...)

just use plain [ quote ], without the =.

No. Not unless Brandon somehow lets you add it to his database or server. Or unless your computer is on the net.
Images are only referenced by links.

Only online.

Well duh

I meant - if I do wish to write some string in it... I need this to post quotations from the manual ("[quote="The System Admin Manual, p.306"] "), without getting this result:
The System Admin Manual, p.306 wrote:
Gotta love the South

Oh, so you'd want that to just say "The System Admin Manual, p.306".

Don't think it can be done, sorry.

Why you not just say:

On the System Admin Manual, p.306, Somebody working for IBM wrote:

Nothing beats the knightrider TransAm or could it be the DeLorean from Back to the future or the red Ford Mustang convertible from Iron Eagle???

it's all about emotions from the past... (I remember wanting to be a member of the "A" Team once.... grin...)

Yes, Yes, weekend starts soon and we should get out more...

Well of all the cool cars definately the 1957 model(or it 56? can't remember) Ford Mustang convertible will make the race for me... One of the realy few cars I find cool in red.

I have seen one of the few DeLoreans in a museum once. Very impressing car! But I definately like the TransAm and the Mustang better.
Or the white Corvette from the A-Team... Also really cool

138min left... Heading out at 5:00 sharp! And I am realy looking forward to have a nice cold bear on my balcony as soon as I am home.

cheers!
