Hi

I am in the process of upgrading a win NT4 SP6 server from WMQ 5.3 CSD09 to CSD10. The installation failed due to the error below which was in the installation log file.

Does anyone know why this error occurred. All other files proceeding this were copied successfully. So i don'ty understand why this one would fail. I

google for "file error 1224" and found this:

"ERROR_USER_MAPPED_FILE
1224 The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open"

Maybe you have some mq files locked, or in use.

Thanks for that, i assumed the error number had something to do with IBM.
i ran process explorer and found that the eventvwr had the dll open.
so i closed it and reran the installation again. It completed successfully.
