Hi All,

We have channel exits developed and currently used in LIVE system for Server and Requestor channels on Solaris system for WMQ5.3 with CSD10.

Recenctly we faced queue manager hang up issue with the channel exits. After checking the FDCs, it looks we have some threading issue in the channel exits

We have compiled the channel exits on solaris with the following options.

cc -c -KPIC -I/opt/mqm/inc -I/usr/include -L/opt/mqm/lib -L/usr/include/sys -lmqm -lmqmcs -lmqmzse -lc -lpthread -lsocket -lnsl -ldl SSAInboundChannelExit.c

ld -G -o SSAInboundChannelExit SSAInboundChannelExit.o -e MsgExit -L/opt/mqm/lib -L/usr/include/sys -dy -lmqm -lmqmcs -lmqmzse -lc -lpthread -lsocket -lnsl -ldl

Do you have any idea whether the above commands are used for thread safe.?

Check the Intercomms manual for the commands to compile and link channel exits on Solaris.
