I am putting test message in q1 queue using
amqsput q1 qm1( qmnanager name) at solaris prompt
when i see the response queue of qm2 at Rfh there is no message in the queue .


When i put the message of sender queue of qm2 through rfh and check for qm1 qm receiver queueq2 at solaris using qmqsget following message is generated please find

amqsget qm1 q2
Sample AMQSGET0 start
no more messages
Sample AMQSGET0 end

I am not sure whys is it so

** how can i find the listener at solaris prompt ( Command )

Try

"amqsget q2 qm1" instead of "amqsget qm1 q2". Or if it says "no more messages" its because there are no messages!

Ramirez - you realize that he actually has a queue named "qm1" and a queue manager named "q2"

Amit15, do explain this strange phenomenon... (possibly a posting typo?)

how can i find the listener at solaris prompt

1) Use the search button
2) Read the manuals
3) expect some one to answer ,

Anyway how did the listner start on the Solaris in First place ?
either it is from runmqlsr or from inetd ,
