hi,
I have installed wmqi2.1 on windows XP machine.
I have the following softwares already installed on my machine:-
DB2 UDB 8.2
Websphere MQ 5.3
When i try to run wmqi control center it gives me an error as below:-
c:\Program Files\IBM\Web Sphere MQ Integrator 2.1\Tool\bin\java.exe is not a valid win32 application.
when I try to install fix pack 8 (CSD 8 (U200225)) , it gives the following error:-
Incompetible WMQI product is present on the host system. You must remove the incompletible version before proceeding installation setup.
If anybody is having the solution then reply back.
Thanks

Let us begin with - why? Why install v2.1? It is old, out of support and utterly buggy, switch to latest version!
Anyway, it is my belief that CSD08 is not meant to be installed with v2.1 but with a newer version. |

I stand corrected
However, bear in mind that many older products that are still officially supported, de-facto it is very difficult to find anyone who still knows them well enough to help with any problems, not to mention that usually new FixPacks are not issued for older products. |
