Designs and codes from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps. Prepares detailed specifications. Performs project management of estimating, scheduling, and monitoring tasks.
This position will participate in the re-design and enhancement of FraudPlus (VZW fraud detection system). Requires experience in Java GUI development, IBM WebSphere WSAD, OO/UML design, Unix/Solaris and Application Servers, Oracle SQL. Java skills should include J2EE, JMS, Struts and Tiles, MVC Framework, OOPS Concepts, SDLC, UML, XML, XSLT, J2EE Design Patterns. Also prefer experience in C for backend server development. Candidate must have experience in programming and design methodology, tools, standards, and procedures, including source code version control. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
