Does MQ support something similar as MSMQ queued components?

I think the number of people here with MSM@ knowledge is ->0, why don't you simple tell us what this "queued components" is and we'll tell you if you can do it in WMQ?

(Sorry for the @, couldn't bring myself to write it... I have already pledged my allegiance elsewhere )

From a quick Google search:
Quote:
Queued Components, a key feature of COM+ and based on Microsoft Message Queuing Services (MSMQ), provides an easy way to invoke and execute components asynchronously.

How about Triggered Applications.

**Update** After a bit more searching, it looks like it's an interface layer that "hides" the Queues under the COM covers. The client and server think they are communicating via COM, but it's actually a queue providing the transport.

Cheers,

Correct. Plus as a COM+ it supports pooling and also MSMQ 3.0 allow enqueue messages over HTTP. These two things I need most. So can I have them in MQ?

MQ will run SOAP over MQ...

And the support pack/companion product "WebSphere Internet Passthrough" (Support pack MS81) will tunnel MQ over HTTP.

And yes, you can do connection pooling with MQ.
