From Programming Guide manual,
System command queues are not supported on vse/esa.
Does it mean that PCF commands are not supported?
Even though z/os has command queues, it does not support PCFs. Then why do those queues exist here.
It is confusing.. Could somebody clarify?
Thanks |

My guess would be that there is no command processor avaialable, and so there is no way to process commands, and so no queues are required.

Because you can send "plain text" commands to be processed.

In addition to what EddieA said, the new WMQ V6 on z/OS accepts PCF commands. |
