Hi all,
I am trying out with MQ v5.3.1 on a windows 2003 server. The installation was clean and successfull. I faced a problem while creating a Queue Manager, it says MQ failed to communicate with the Operating System. The machine is a Windows 2003 domain controller.
I've tried MQ Fixpak 7 also, but went in vain...What could be the trouble? Does Windows 2003 supports MQ v5.3.1. If so, pls help me to get around this issue.
Any help is appreciated..
Thanks in advance
With regards,

Whats the error (exactly)? Does crtmqm FRED, strmqm FRED, runmqsc FRED etc work from the command line - ie is it just gui issues?
If yes, ie just gui issues, look in the quick beginnings about changing the id mq runs under to a domain id with delegate authority |

I think u need to apply CSD 8.
CSD 8 is minimum. Check documentation for safeside. |

From the readme of the SOE
Quote: |
WebSphere MQ Fix Pack 4 ( CSD04 - PTF U200190 ) is a
prerequisite for Windows 2003 support |
Of course, I can but recommend fp11 |
