Hello All,

When i try to add a Custom Wire Format (Add-->Fhisical Format-->Custom
Wire Format) and then write the name (CWF), and then when i press OK
the MQIntegrator return the follow error.
"BIP181W: Message repository resource (Message Se, INSDESGR-CWF) not
locked: Freezing Message Set operation not permitted)
The Freezin Message Set operation is not permitted because the message
repository resource (Message Set, INSDESGR-CWF) is not locked, or is
locked by another user.
Check out Message Set, INSDESGR-CWF and retry the operation."

Can any one help-me

I assume the message set already exists and you are just adding a CWF physical format? Did you "CheckOut" the message set like the error indicates you should?

If memory serves (It's been a while since I worked with V2.1) there is an icon that should show up by the message set if it was checked out? If you checkIN and then checkOut the message set, does that Icon toggle off and on?

No, this is not a problem with the icon because if i try check in then message after try insert the fhisical format the WMQI check in the message ok. And when i check out the message and try to do the same operation i receive the same error.

Always, always perform a search on this site first. Generally, you're not the first person to encounter the error.

I saw this thread that references an APAR: http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6356

It looks like IC34470 is in FP7 and FP 8 ... you can get FP8 from here:

Either you are performing the steps in the wrong order - and alas, I don't remember the right order - or you have not communicated your problem clearly or you have a new bug.

Regardless, it's probably a good idea to open a PMR.
