Hi, I am preparing for the exam 294 and have the following queries. I request you to please me. Please provide a one line reason if possible. Thanks in advance.

If MQSeries receives a request to start a channel but finds that an amqcrsta process already exists for the same channel, the existing process must be stopped before the new one can start. The AdoptNewMCA attribute allows you to control the termination of an existing process and the startup of a new one for a specified channel type. To adopt the channel in which there is no agent process, the value of AdoptNewMCA attribute should be :-

A. SVR B. CLUSRCVR C. FASTPATH D. ALL

Use these queue manager properties pages to specify the network protocol configuration parameters. They override the default attributes for channels. Select the stanzas which are supported on MQSeries for Windows NT and Windows 2000 only :-
A. LU62 B. NETBIOS C. TCP D. SPX

Two applications use 2 separate channels to send messages from QM1 to QM2. Both these channels are through the same line. Both the channels have optimum traffic. Which of these is the best way to increase the channel performance.
1. increase no of channels
2. Reduce batch size
3. Increase channel band width
4. Increase the line speed.

The documentation says that higher the batch size, the better is the throughput. I dont think that 2 shud be an answer.

39. A queue manager running on a Sun Solaris platform has specified circular logging, has defined the log file size to be 80 MB, and has configured 3 primary and 1 secondary log. What is the minimum amount of disk space that MUST be available for logs when the queue manager is created?

A. 320MB

B. 240MB

C. 160MB

D. 80MB

Since the no.s of primary files are 3, i believe that the space required would be 240MB
