Hi guys,

I have developed a C MQI interface program on VC++ which issues a MQGET call . It runs on MQ Client It uses the MQSERVER variable to connect to the MQ server The MAXMSGL attribute of the SVRCONN channel is set to be 80 MB.This program is working fine when I'm trying to get a message less than 4MB . If i'm trying to get a message more than 4mB it is throwing 2010 error
More specifically it is throwing the error when i change the size of buffer that i'm passing as a parameter in MQGET call to more than 4MB. Im new to MQ It will be helpful if anyone can thorw light on this. Thanks in advance.

If I weren't replying, you could delete this message, and repost it in the API forum.

But don't do that.

The moderators will move this.

There was much discussion of this problem in previous posts... try searching for something like client 4mb and see what you find.

I don't remember the salient details myself - the solution is either to upgrade to the lastest fixpack, or to use MQCONNX instead of MQCONN+MQSERVER to define your client channel.
