I'm looking for a MQ monitoring tool, and would like to know what you guys are using or prefer...

This really shouldn't be a popularity contest.

You have specific business requirements for your monitoring tool - you would not be spending money on one if you didn't.

In addition, you have existing infrastructure and systems that you probably want to, at some point, add to the monitoring part of your infrastructure.

You likely have a specific cost limit for a monitoring tool as well.

These are the things that should help you decide between what may seem like identical products at first glance.

You should also contact vendors and get demonstrations of the various products - to make sure that you won't end up with something that is functional but very very hard to use.

At work, we're using Candle OmegaMon XE on AIX, which fullfills our needs, while BMC Patrol never (BMC engineer was even unable to have it working here)

You forgot three monitors which are in wide use - Candle, HP OpenView and Tivoli.
